Mess Hall Cancellation Policy

Classes

Mess Hall prides itself in creating unique food experiences, with experienced instructors and top quality ingredients. Payment is required in full upon registration in order for our team to produce the best event for you.

We require a minimum of 10 days notice in advance of the class for any cancellations. In this case, your registration will be refunded, minus an admin fee of $35.

In the case of last minute cancellations (under 10 days) refunds will not be issued, and we invite you to pass along your class registration to a friend.

If you miss an event you have registered for, and do not communicate with Mess Hall in advance, no refunds or make-up classes will be available.

Mess Hall reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrolment. We will notify you within 24 hours of the scheduled start of class, and your registration fee will be refunded in full.

Kitchen Rentals

Prior to the booked kitchen rental time, please notify Mess Hall immediately if a cancellation is needed.

If cancelled 7 days or more before the rental date, you will receive a full refund minus an administration fee of $35 to cover costs of handling contract and refund.

If cancelled within 7 days before the rental date, the payment is forfeited. No refund will be issued.

In case of illness or force majeure, please contact us to discuss options.

In the unlikely event that Mess Hall has to cancel the booked time or the continuation of the agreement is not feasible, you can opt for: a full refund or the ability to transfer to another booking.

Event Space Rentals

You may cancel an event booking if more than 60 days before the event date and receive a full refund, minus a $35 service fee, which remains payable to Mess Hall.

If you cancel a booking anytime within 60 days of the event date, there are no refunds and all fees specified for the booking will remain payable to Mess Hall.

Damage Deposits will be used to cover outstanding fees first, with the remainder being refunded.

Popup Events

In order to keep the price low for popups, there are no refunds after booking is confirmed and all fees specified for the booking will remain payable to Mess Hall. Re-scheduling may be possible pending availability.
